Personalized attention
The owner will be your hostess, picking you up at the dock when you arrive in Puerto Ayora the first day and helping you out with the luggage. She speaks English, Spanish and German fluently. Being born on the Islands and having gathered much experience with tourism and guiding she can provide much information about Galapagos if desired.

Versatility
If you need anything – just ask Gundi! You can reach her on her phone at any time and she will be pleased to meet your needs. You can also arrange breakfast at any hour and we have no move-in or move-out times.

Services
We would like to invite you to make use of our living-room and kitchen facilities. The living-room area is perfect for resting, reading a book or watching national television. The Guest House also offers internet and a telephone for emergency calls. The kitchen can be used to store or prepare your own food and meals at any time. Drinking water is also provided (the water from the tab should not be used for drinking). The sheets are changed regularly and the rooms are cleaned every day. We also provide soap, shampoo and bathroom towels.

Ecological Responsibility
The Guest House is surrounded by a natural environment. The owner, Gundi, tries to keep the garden flourishing and maintain the indigenous and endemic species intact. The provided soaps and shampoo are biodegradable. At Jean’s Home we try to be as responsible as possible with our cleaning products, using mostly non-contaminating and natural brands. Plastic bags are also cleaned and re-used when possible. To minimize the use of electricity all sheets and towels are dried in the sun.
